The first number of months of 2013 have already seen quite a bit of change in the private security industry and for the Irish Security Indsutry Association (ISIA). Licening of CIT operatives was introduced on the 1st May and plans for licensing of other currently unlicensed areas of private security is already under way. The members of the ISIA voted to approve a Registered Employment Agreement (REA) that had been in development for some time and they also elected their first female President, Sheenagh McCullagh.
