ASSISTANT GARDA Commissioner Nóirín O’Sullivan has become the first woman to be promoted to the position of Deputy Commissioner of An Garda Síochána, the second most senior posting in the force.
The ISIA Awards were held on the 26th November in Carton House and were attended by individuals from private security, the wider business community along with members of An Garda Síochána and the Irish Coast Guard.
