NOONAN are lead sponsors of ISIA Awards

John O'Donoghue, Group CEO, NOONAN, has confirmed that NOONAN will be the proud lead sponsor of the ISIA Annual Awards in 2010.

Since 1985, the Paul Lynch Memorial Sculpture has been awarded to an individual or group in recognition of a major contribution to the security of the Island or the security of people.

The Award is a specially commissioned sculpture depicting a pair of clasped hands, which sybolise caring, strength and protection. It is presented in honour of Paul Lynch, who died suddenly at the age of 38 during his term as President of the Irish Security Industry Association.
      
This honour has been awarded to a diverse range of people and groups who have served or represented Ireland or her people with dedicated devotion and selfless commitment. A selection of the recipients in recent years included:

- Anna May McHugh
- Bertie Ahern, T.D.
- Paul Williams, Crime Editor
- Fr. Aidan Troy
- John Hume MP MEP
- Ms Jennifer Guinness (Victim Support)
        
There are three other main awards on the night - The National Courage Award, The Community Person of the Year and Security Officer of the Year.
